In Viganj in summer ( from May to September) is great to learn how to kitesurf because it is every day wind ( this summer was 80%)
It is a chanell and every day you can kitesurf but from around 14:00 till sunset, in the morning is great wind for windsurfing, kayaking,stand-up paddling, waking...
Here in Viganj is deep water so we are learning with boat, you are in the water and we are always 5m behind you and tell you what to do, so you can learn a lot
Kitesurfing course cost from 200€ to 275€ it depend how many people you are and also in wich time you want to come
It is a 10 hours course with IKO certificate, you are always 3 people in a group
we are affiliated IKO and VDWS school so you can get certificate
You can also hire bikes, it is really nice road 2m from the water or rent kayaks and make a trip to Korčula ( wich is really close)
You can rent stand up padles and have fun, or do wakeboarding in the morning
we can also organize group package for better price
You can do windsurfing there are great condition for beginners in the morning, every day wind from 08:00 to 14:00 for widsurfing, later the wind is stronnger, from 17knots to 25knots, wind mistral
Your wife can relax on the beach, or restarants,bars,...
Viganj is not a big town, it is 3km long but with many nice apartments, some apartments are jut 10m from the water, and some apartments are just 150m away from the kite and windsurf beach ( the price for apartment is 60€ per night if you are 4 people in July and August, in April, May,June, September is 11€ per person per night)
Next bigger town is Orebic or that you stay in town Korčula ( island Korcula, it is just 15min away with the boat from us, but i will be honest it is better to stay in Viganj and when you want travel to Korcula to visit
The nearest airport is Split or Dubrovnik, if you arrive in Dubrovnik we can pick you up with our van, or that you rent some car there
